"I have had chronic pain for 4 + years and after my FIRST session, I had NO pain and dramatically improved movement and warmth in my extremities. Graham is VERY intuitive. I highly recommend a session. FYI: we travelled to Hope from Surrey and it was MORE than worth it." - Tia
Corrective Movement Therapy™
Corrective Movement Therapy™ is a hands-on, movement-based system designed to address chronic pain, postural imbalance, and dysfunctional movement patterns at their root. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, this work examines how your body organizes itself against gravity and corrects compensations that develop over time due to injury, surgery, stress, repetitive strain, or trauma. Sessions are individualized and assessment-driven. Depending on what your body needs, sessions may integrate Structural Integration (Rolfing-informed work), deep tissue techniques, craniosacral therapy, and reflexology as part of a cohesive corrective process — not as separate or routine treatments.
Modalities Used Within Corrective Movement Therapy™
Structural Integration / Rolfing-Informed Bodywork This work is strongly informed by the principles of Rolfing Structural Integration, with a focus on fascial organization, alignment, joint relationships, and whole-body integration. It is precise, methodical, and movement-oriented, supporting long-term structural change rather than temporary relief.
This approach may help address a wide range of concerns—from acute to chronic—including soft tissue and nerve pain, postural issues, stress, and movement-related restrictions. Sessions are slow and precise, working with muscles and fascia to support lasting changes in how the body organizes and moves.
Deep Tissue Massage Deep tissue techniques are used selectively to address chronic tension, scar tissue, and fascial adhesions that interfere with efficient movement and alignment. The work is attentive and considerate, with depth and movement guided by tissue response rather than by routine pressure. Touch may range from very light to sustained and specific, depending on the area and the client’s comfort.
Craniosacral Therapy Gentle, hands-on craniosacral work is used when nervous system regulation, decompression, or subtle structural support is required—particularly in complex, sensitive, or long-standing cases. The work is light and attentive, supporting calm, responsiveness, and integration within a broader corrective approach.
Reflexology Reflexology is incorporated as a supportive modality when foot mechanics, neurological input, or foundational support are contributing to larger movement and postural patterns. Rather than isolated foot treatment, reflexology is used to influence the body as an integrated system within the context of Corrective Movement Therapy™. What I Don’t Offer I do not offer routine or formulaic massage sessions. Every session is guided by assessment, movement quality, and your body’s specific needs on that day.
